Ahead of IPL 2024, Mahendra Singh Dhoni stepped down as the captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Thursday. The official handle of CSK took to X to announce that Indian opener Ruturaj Gaikwad has been appointed as the new captain of the IPL team.
